Jackie reached out to me needing a professional brand photographer to capture her CPA business in a professional and knowledgeable light. As well as in a relatable and comfortable way that speaks to fellow small business owners. After chatting she decided to enroll in my brand subscription package as it fit what she was looking for and needed for her personal brand photos!
Brand subscriptions are a great way to get images that clients need without the overwhelm of a full day or even half-day session. Photo sessions are broken up into shorter, bite-size 1-hour sessions. This makes it easier for business owners that are not accustomed to long shoots.
My favorite thing about brand subscriptions is that it’s an easy way to get fresh or seasonal content without having to plan a year’s worth of content in a day! Each subscription session comes with a pre-planning call to strategize and a planning guide for each session which was what Jackie needed for her growing small business.
Jackie wanted outdoor, natural light photos for her first session in her branding subscription package. Her ideal clients are small business entrepreneurs so she wanted a “work from anywhere” kind of vibe for this first session! Everything about your brand should speak to your ideal client and your brand photos are no different!
Brand photos are an important part of your brand as they not only show your brand they show you and your personality. This is what people fall in love with first before your brand!
Your business is SO much more than a product or service you sell! It’s about the person behind the product and service, the person who makes it all worthwhile, who puts their blood, sweat, and tears into the business that they love and are passionate about!
Brand photos show this, they show the behind-the-scenes of the business that you run and showcase your personality through images. Professional brand photos help to get your audience and potential clients feeling good about who you are and what you have to offer. It allows them to trust you because they feel like they know you.
Working with Jackie was such a pleasure, her easy-going personality made working with her a joy!! She was a trooper because we had some crazy winds on that spring afternoon!
Jackie also came extremely prepared for the shoot. Before the personal branding shoot, we had our strategy call where we planned and talked about her vision for the day and images. On the call I mentioned to her that she should bring some props that would portray her business. She wanted to focus on 3 main storylines to really relate with her ideal small business entrepreneur clients; relaxed lifestyle headshots, working remotely, and working on the go.
Props are so important when it comes to brand photography as most of us use items during our work days such as computers, notebooks, or even your daily coffee. Props give more of a personalized look into your work rather than just plain old headshots!
If youre thinking about having your personal brand photos taken I say go for it! You’ll be able to use them for your website and social media, helping you attract your ideal clients!
