I loved having the opportunity to photograph another Good Day Guest House short-term vacation rental and this did not disappoint! Last October Good Day guest house chose me to be their vacation rental photographer for their beautiful 5 bedroom 3 bathroom historic home in Brenham, Texas. This home had a designer’s touch and amazing attention to detail (See photos of this historic home here). And I must say Good Day Guest Houses really knows how to embody a cozy feeling in each one of its short-term vacation rentals.
Jack’s Place is one of Good Day Guest House’s short-term vacation rentals in Gonzales Texas. Just like the last time when I shot their historic home in Brenham Texas, they were on point with styling, as usual! From the veggies in the kitchen to the Shiners on the porch. This really helps guests envision how they can use the property to make their own memories!
One of my favorite things about capturing short-term vacation rentals is capturing the vignettes in each room and these small spaces in the home really tell a story! This is so important when capturing professional interior photography because you want the audience to imagine themselves staying at your rental. Whether it’s cooking a family dinner in the kitchen or sitting in the backyard making memories while sipping on a beer. Styling is an important aspect to consider for any vacation rental or interior design project! It truly makes a huge difference!
Styling helps the space have life and makes someone feel at home before ever stepping into your place. The styling really allows the potential guest to feel like the short-term rental they are viewing will help them feel cozy while away from home! It helps provide the potential guest with a visual appeal to the home as well as create an emotional connection.
Good Day Guest house does an exceptional job of this! Every room I walked into wasn’t only pristine, it also had its own story to tell. I loved that each room in Jack’s Place was decorated with the perfect mix of new and vintage pieces. I loved what they did record player console in the living room! Adding the glass top so the guests could see in was brilliant!! Throughout the home, they also created little glimpses of who “Jack” might be since after all it is named Jack’s Place! From the oversized framed art print of Jack to the fish wall plaque, they did such an amazing job of really giving a story to their rental to really draw their guests into the experience and meet Jack. They perfectly decorated this home in a modern vintage design with a few fun touches throughout.
