Interior Design Photography is so much more than just a stagnant photo. The best interior photos tell a story. It captures a moment in time while sparking emotion, sharing a message, and expressing a mood. Instead of seeing a stagnant photo of a sofa in the corner of a living room, you may picture a moment in time, imagining yourself sitting in this chair reading one of your favorite novels feeling relaxed and at ease after a long week at work.
When investing in professional Airbnb photos you should invest in a photographer who will capture photos that make the viewers feel a certain emotion. They should be able to picture themselves staying there ready to book their next vacation at your property.
Professional interior photographers know how to portray your property to guide the viewer’s eyes to specific points and details. Always accentuate your listing and property’s best features through color, contrasts, and angles. Giving them a storyline where they can imagine themselves cooking a delicious meal in the kitchen or sitting in the backyard while their kids run around in the summer sun.
This is why it’s important to get interior design photography done for your vacation rental as it will help you attract more guests to your property as well as improve your listing! Even Airbnb themselves say, “Adding high-quality photos is an easy way to attract more travelers to explore your listing page”. Not only that but there was a study that found that Airbnb hosts who invested in professional Airbnb photos were able to charge up to 26% more per night than they did without it!
Lindsey, Property Manager, for Chauncy St a Vacation rental in Brenham, Texas knew that professional photos would help improve this property listing so she reached out to me to come and photograph her listing. Lindsey and I have worked together quite a bit in the past (see more of our work together here) and continue for most new listings.
What I loved most about this home was how spacious it was! It had a great layout that really maximized the entire space. But before I get ahead of myself let’s talk about the exterior! Chauncy St. is a very charming cottage. The beautiful trees surrounding the home really provided the grey exterior with some vibrant color.
As soon as you walked in you could see how everything was laid out so perfectly to within the space! From leather and rust-colored velvet chairs, it has a beautiful modern vibe throughout with midcentury touches.
We captured this new listing during the middle of the day. Shooting mid-day is always ideal and always recommended for interior photos!
Working with Lindsey, owner of Hostie Vacation Rentals, I know it’s going to be a fun session at a cute place! Lindsey always knows exactly what she wants and envisions for her properties and we always make sure to capture exactly that!
