Did you know that the Round Top Antique show in Texas is one of the best places to go for Interior designers?! The Round Top Antique show comes around twice a year during the spring and fall where hundreds of thousands of people come to find unique treasures and antiques!
The antique show is the largest of its kind in the country, stretching over 11 miles on either side of Texas State Highway 237 with over 65 venues! During the show, visitors from ALL over come to shop at barns, tents, and hayfields for authentic antiques, fine art, and home decor. But the antique show offers more than just chic signage and old relics! It’s a festival full of food, community, and friendships.
Lindsey from HOSTÎE Vacation Rentals wanted me to capture the ambiance of the antique show for her as a lot of her short-term vacation rentals are booked during this time of the year for the Round Top antique show in Texas. Not only that but a lot of her ideal clients come to experience the small-town vibes that Round Top gives as well!
Capturing brand photography for Lindsey is always a pleasure and it was so much fun being back at the antique show as it’s probably been about 5 years since I was able to go to Round Top during the show! I usually am here capturing quite a few different interior design projects for Lindsey and other interior designers and vacation rental hosts but this year I was finally able to check it out!
Since the last antique show about 5 years ago a lot has changed! This year’s Round Top Antique show in Texas is a lot more eclectic mixed with a lot of different items and unique antiques. There were a lot more vendors with more modern vibes rather than just antiques, which is great because that provides the shoppers who are looking for variety more of an option than just the rustic or farmhouse style!
While capturing Lindsey’s brand photography and walking around the antique show I noticed a lot of green pots! Green pots were an absolute hit this year! It seems everywhere I went they were there and had sold signs on them! I was also pretty surprised by the crowd as it wasn’t as plentiful as it usually is but this may be because I went during mid-week which is great for the shoppers who were there! I loved seeing all the colorful items and unique items, from the rusty decor and signage to the colorful unique textured clothing and classic cowboy hats.
Another thing I loved seeing and capturing at the antique show was all the fur babies! Having fur babies at my brand photography sessions or interior design sessions is one of my favorite things so seeing them all around the show was a treat!
I’m so glad I was able to capture Lindsey’s brand photography session at the Round Top Antique Show in Texas and provide her and her client’s insight on the ambiance of this incredible Texas antique show!
